Privacy Policy
What information CurbTech AI may collect and how it is used.
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information CurbTech AI ("CurbTech," "we," "us") may collect when you use the platform, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the platform, you consent to the practices described here.
1. Information We May Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a password (stored as a hash), your name, and role. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google or Apple), we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.
Business information you create
This includes business profiles, lead records, contacts, campaigns, proposals, invoices, resumes, and other documents you create or save while using the platform. You control this data; we store it so the platform can function.
Usage information
We log how you use the platform — pages visited, features used, usage counts (such as Lead Engine generations and email sends), device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the service.
Lead and contact data
When you use the Lead Engine, the platform retrieves publicly available business information (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and website details) from public sources. This data is shown to you and stored in your account when you save it. It is business contact information gathered from public sources, not personal data collected directly from individuals.
Campaign information
If you send email campaigns, we store campaign metadata, recipients you select, and delivery status (such as sent, bounced, or opened) as reported by your connected email provider.
Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used and to improve it. These tools may collect device, browser, and usage data according to their own policies.
Payment information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). CurbTech does not receive or store your full card numbers. We may receive transaction metadata (such as amount, status, and a transaction identifier) from the provider.
Connected integrations
If you connect a third-party account (such as Gmail), the platform receives access tokens and uses them to perform actions you request (such as sending email). The tokens are stored securely and used only to perform the actions you initiate.
2. Why We Collect Information
- To provide and operate the platform and its features
- To authenticate you and secure your account
- To track usage so limits can be applied fairly and the platform stays stable
- To generate AI summaries, emails, and other content you request
- To process payments and maintain purchase records
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and changes
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
- To improve and develop the platform over time
3. How Information Is Used
Your account information is used to identify you and personalize your experience. Your business data is used to render the tools you use (leads, campaigns, invoices, etc.). Usage data is used to enforce limits and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. How Information Is Protected
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted storage, access controls, and authentication. No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information consistent with industry practice.
5. Third-Party Processors
We rely on third parties to operate the platform, including hosting, databases, email, payments, analytics, and AI providers. Each processor handles data according to its own terms and policies. CurbTech is not responsible for the practices of third-party services you connect to your account.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your data according to our retention schedule, except where we are required to keep records by law.
7. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting CurbTech support. We will process the request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include:
- Accessing a copy of your data
- Correcting inaccurate information
- Requesting deletion of your data
- Withdrawing consent for certain processing
- Objecting to or restricting certain uses
We do not claim compliance with any specific privacy law unless the implementation actually supports it. Where a law grants you rights, we will respond to valid requests in accordance with that law. To exercise a right, contact CurbTech support.
9. Children's Privacy
The platform is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The platform uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in Canada or other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the platform, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in countries with data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy over time. We will communicate material changes appropriately. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Contact for Privacy Questions
